Built for gaming, The Titan custom gaming PC is a machine that will truly put you into the driving seat.
AMD’s new Ryzen 7 brings with it, a processor called the 1700x, one which puts a lot of power at your fingertips. The CPU comes with 8 different cores, of which, you get access to 16 threads, 2 in each. It has 16MB of Level 3 Cache memory and has a boost clock max of 3.8GHz...
As you may have come to expect from the people at AMD, the components are built to be overclocked. They are CPUs built for gamers and it’s great to see how much your able to get out of your machine if you’ve got the right specifications. This is where the DeepCool Gammaxx GTE comes into play. It’s a standard CPU air cooler with a fin surface area of 5600cm2. It has four heat pipes to dissipate the heat, removing it from your CPU and cooling it efficiently. You’ll also have access to RGB lighting on the cooler, as it comes with an RGB connector to plug straight into your motherboard.
Making all of this possible, is the MSI B450 Tomahawk. The motherboard supports DDR4 RAM, up to 3466 MHz, and you can put up to four sticks of RAM in it. The B450 also has PCI-Express Steel Armor. This is a steel coating around the graphics card slot to protect against bending. The motherboard also offers heavy plated gaming heatsinks on it to further help with the components staying cool. Not only does the Tomahawk cater to gamers looking to overclock, but it also gives you a feel for true gaming with RBG lights and one of 10 different color cycles.
Moving into the video department, The Titan features one of the brand-new cards from NVIDIA in the RTX range. These cards are truly built for performance and you’ll find that with the RTX 2060, your graphics issues will be put to rest as you know you’re playing with one of the top cards out there. The NVIDIA Turing architecture on the new RTX platform gives up to 6x the performance of the previous generation cards. The 2060 is a 6GB GDDR6 graphics card with a boost clock of 1680MHz. The RTX cards also have a feature called Ray Tracing, which, is definitely something for the future as there are only a few confirmed games that will be using it. But by having an RTX card, you’ll never be left in the past because you’ll be playing with the future.
We really love the 500GB SSD inside our custom built PC, The Titan, because it lets users put their operating systems on the SSD allowing for a really quick boot-up speed, but also has enough space to allow for all of your favorite games on the same drive. This means that the games boot up quickly, don’t spend much time loading, and ultimately run a lot faster.
The Titan comes with the View21 chassis from Thermaltake which sits just off the ground, prevent dust build up, and brings with it, 4mm thick tempered glass windows and a single pre-installed 120mm fan. The case has full RGB lighting and gives users the ability to add in many more fans too.
